Tru Jiu Jitsu is a community-focused academy dedicated to helping students reach their personal goals through world-class instruction. Our certified team specializes in Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, takedowns, and self-defense, offering elite training for both hobbyists and serious competitors.

Teaching and student development are Mike’s true passions. Coming from a family of 13 teachers, instruction is in his blood. Mike has been studying martial arts since the age of 15; for the last 7 years, he has trained relentlessly and holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Brown in Krav Maga.

Having trained with Dr. Itay Gil of the Israeli Special Forces, and holding degrees in Business, Science, and Art, Mike brings a well-rounded and disciplined approach to every class at Tru Jiu Jitsu.
